✝️ The Episcopal Difference
"Faith, Reason, and Tradition"
Our identity is rooted in the Episcopal belief that intellect and spirit grow together.
-
Inclusive Community: We welcome families of all faiths and backgrounds. We teach children to respect the dignity of every human being.
-
Chapel Life: From the wiggly 2-year-olds to the confident 5th graders, we gather for Chapel to sing, pray, and hear stories of goodness and grace.
-
Service Learning: We cultivate empathy by engaging students in age-appropriate service projects, teaching them that they have the power to help others.
-
Spiritual Foundation: Even our youngest students experience Godly Play—an imaginative approach to faith that uses storytelling and wonder to introduce children to God’s love.
🌱 The Early Childhood Experience (Ages 2–4)
Where a love for learning begins.
We believe that for young children, play is serious work. Our Early Childhood program provides a warm, safe, and spiritually nourishing environment where children build the social and emotional foundations for life.
-
The 2s Program: Discovery & Trust
-
Focus: A gentle introduction to a school routine. We focus on separation from caregivers, parallel play, and sensory exploration.
-
Environment: A loving, "home away from home" atmosphere where children feel safe to explore textures, music, and movement.
-
-
The 3s Program: Curiosity & Connection
-
Focus: Rapid language development and social interaction. Children learn to share, take turns, and navigate friendships.
-
Curriculum: Introduction to circle time, imaginative play centers, and hands-on art projects that develop fine motor skills.
-
-
The 4s Program: Readiness & Confidence
-
Focus: The bridge to Kindergarten. We balance play with intentional instruction in early literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving.
-
Independence: Students gain confidence in self-care and decision-making, ensuring they enter Elementary school eager and prepared.
-
📚 The Elementary Years (Kindergarten – Grade 5)
Where curiosity meets character.
As children graduate from our Early Childhood program, they enter the Elementary years ready to dive deeper. We combine academic rigor with the Episcopal tradition of intellectual inquiry.
-
Academic Excellence: A challenging curriculum in literacy, STEM, and the humanities that encourages students to ask "Why?" and "How?"
-
The Holistic Approach: We don't just teach to the test. We dedicate time to music, foreign language, physical education, and the visual arts.
-
Leadership: Our older students act as mentors to the younger children fostering a sense of responsibility and community.
